Project Summary


Span-by-Span Precast Segmental Construction

The Project consists of the interchange of Interstate Highways 10 and 35 in downtown San Antonio and is the most extensive use of precast segmental construction in an urban area in the United States. Features include cantilever piers, straddle bents, multiple box construction, segments and truncated wings and spans with horizontal curves of 300ft radius and 8% vertical grades.
