Cast-in-Place Balanced Cantilever Main Span with Precast I-Girder Approaches

Intercoastal Canal section of IH45 Causeway onto Galveston Island with a segmental bridge structure to be built utilizing cast-in-place, balanced cantilever construction. The single box girder has a deck width of 51 feet and was cast using form travelers. Spans lengths are 210ft, 375ft, and 210ft.
