Project Summary


Cast-in-Place Balanced Cantilever Main Span with Precast I-Girder Approaches

This intercoastal canal crossing with a segmental bridge structure was built utilizing cast-in-place, balanced cantilever construction. The single cell box girder has a deck width of 46 feet and was cast using form travelers. The navigational channel clearance is 85 feet high. Spans lengths are 180ft, 320ft, and 180ft.
